Who we are
Learning Blocks Child Care Centres are family owned intimate boutique centres. We strive to bring out the best potential in all children by providing children and families a high quality environment that is loving, engaging, educational and nurturing. We pride ourselves in providing an environment that is safe, clean and which educates and promotes a love of learning within children through planned and spontaneous experiences which help each child reach their full potential.
At Learning Blocks we are influenced by The Reggio Emilia Approach which is an innovative and inspiring approach to early childhood education which values the child as strong, capable and resilient; rich with wonder and knowledge. Using the Australian National Early Years Learning Framework, we follow a curriculum that guides educators in developing quality, early childhood education program.
We believe that all children are individuals and therefore every child has different needs and interests. It is the aim of our centres to promote curiosity in children and it is through this curiosity our staff are able to extend on children's interests. Where there is curiosity, there is learning.
"Tell me and I'll forget,
Show me and I may remember,
Involve me and I'll understand"
Throughout your child’s journey with us we continue to take the time to find out what your expectations are for your child. We encourage parents to get involved in all aspects of our curriculum and aim to bridge the gap between home and school.
